This place is probably better than I am rating it, at least for the region. Authentic mexican food, well prepared. I've just been spoiled by better places in Texas Florida and California. I doubt you will find better than this in Iowa. Portions are decent as are the prices. Staff are a bit surly though.

I’m so glad this restaurant is on Drake’s campus! :) I always have such a great time here. The staff is very friendly and have great memory. - outdoor seating - big menu - lots of specials - TVs - free parking

This place is a Drake staple. Would come here to start the night with their cheap margarita pitchers and some choripollo. Miguel is the goat. Staff is always super friendly and the food is amazing. If you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, there will be some drunk college kids, but they are all harmless.

We had a great time here! The blended magaritas were awesome. My chile verde with rice and beans were super flavorful and hot as well. Prices are quite steep for Mexican food, but I come to expect that in the Drake area. Overall great spot for Drake students, and great food with many options. Highly recommend! P.s. you get free nachos
